    SYZYGY is the long playing debut for Richard Amp's solo project, and represents the most dynamic and diverse work to emerge from the AMP stables to date.

    Filmic in tone and vast in scope, it is an album of violent mood swings. The choral drones, brooding electronica and nervy mutant beats familiar from Amp's back catalogue manifest themselves here in extreme and highly specific contexts.

    Taken individually each piece defines a distinct point on the scale between inner heaven and inner hell; a precise location in a dream landscape.
    Collectively they form a surreal yet cohesive musical narrative. Whether tense or blissed out, lush or austere, epiphanies or apocalyptic, SYZYGY is unwaveringly compelling.
